Westmount Waterloo hosts Open House!

By: Waterloo Movers @ 5:41 pm

On Monday November 28th, our Waterloo movers hosted an open house to showcase our storage facility and moving operation. The theme of the open house was “Moving Forward with Confidence.” We were very proud and excited to have as our guest speakers Mr. Vic Degutis, President of the Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest, Mr. Alan Quarry, CEO of Quarry Integrated Communications and Senator Larry Smith. The speakers each focused on how they have “Moved Forward with Confidence” in their respective careers and fields.

We would like to express our gratitude to 570 news radio in Kitchener for their support of this event and for our MC, Glenn Pelletier. We also would like to thank the Canadian Music Competition and ten year old Allan Zhang and 15 year old Amadeusz Kazubowski-Houston, both from Waterloo, for performing for our guests.

Westmount Waterloo is proud to serve the communities of Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Guelph and surrounding areas and we were thrilled to meet many local leaders in these communities.

By: Waterloo Movers @ 6:57 pm

Joe, JP, Laura & Jennifer participated in the Exercise Collaborative Spirit at CFB Petawawa. The exercise is designed to familiarize business leaders & government executives with a day in the life of Canadian soldiers training for operations.

The day’s events included a flight on a Hercules cargo military aircraft, live firing demonstrations of various weapons and driving armoured vehicles.

It was a unique opportunity to meet and interact with Canada’s soldiers in the field and experience Army life for a day!
